Bonus Time On The Water

Posted: September 28, 2025

I was able to get out fishing three times this past week. Once with my neighbor and two times with fellow guide Boo, who was also done working for the season. I spent one day fishing the lower river and two days fishing the middle river. The lower river is where I spend my season …

That’s A Wrap.

Posted: September 21, 2025

I’m sad writing this, but my 2025 guiding season is officially over. It’s now time to winterize the boat and the cabins. However, I’m not completely done fishing. I’ll slip out when the time is right. Hopefully, photos will follow. According to the calendar, tomorrow is the first day of fall. Based on the visibility …

Fishing Report: The Day After Week Ending 9/14/25

Posted: September 15, 2025

Fishing Report Week Ending 9/14/25

Sorry, my full report will have to wait until tomorrow. I’ve been too busy fishing to put together a recap.

Fish (and fishermen) don’t like that. That being said, …

Fishing Report Week Ending 8/31/25

Posted: August 31, 2025

August ends tonight and I think it’s safe to say the first run of silver salmon has been a normal one. Normal is good. The steady action has been a welcome relief compared to what we experienced last year. I’ve got my fingers crossed that the second run of silvers mirrors the first run and …
